Mac App Store Reaches 100 Million Downloading - Apple officially announced that more than 100 million applications have been downloaded from a Mac App Store for Macintosh computers.
As quoted from the ST, there are already 100 million for Machintosh applications that are downloaded from a Mac App Store since it first opened an online store earlier this year.
Apple launched its online store in January that, in the current App Store apps store even sells a lot of applications for the iPhone, iPad and iPod.
"Mac App Store is an online store application / software in the world," said Philip Schiller, Senior Vice President of Worldwide Marketing from Apple.
"In just three years of the App Store has changed the way how people get mobile applications, and now Mac App Store change the PC software industry is the traditional pattern," he added.
